Our coaches and advisors have been working diligently to improve the safety and success of all school district events. As the athletic/activity programs are preparing for a very successful year, we want to take this opportunity to remind you (the community) that all elementary and middle school students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when attending La Center School District activities. If a student chooses to make poor decision, they may be required to sit with their parents or leave the premises. This policy is in response to community concerns regarding the safety of our students and community members. In the past, we have had areas where students have chosen to congregate. These areas of congestion make it difficult for spectators traveling to and from their seats and an extra challenge for Event Supervision to ensure a safe environment. We appreciate your assistance in this matter of keeping students in their seats during events and the high traffic areas free of congestion. We hope you are excited to watch and celebrate the achievements of our students in all that they do and are willing to help us maintain a safe and friendly community setting. |
